All I know is, that when I left the house this morning shortly after having an "episode," I soon realized that it had not come to a conclusive end. As I crawled approximately half a block down the street, I decided there was no way I could make it to the store at 15 mph with my head below the steering wheel, and so pulled into the parking lot of an apartment complex.
Once there, I feebly attempted to call my mother. No answer. Cell phone. No answer. Mommy, where are you?! So I called Caleb, who is currently on the road to the outer banks of North Carolina and whimpered for a bit with my head leaning against the air vent next to the steering wheel—until I notice a man with a mustache and a black suit coat is approaching my car, flashing a badge. Awesome, the police think I'm casing the joint.
So I open the door (why not roll down the window?) and he says, "Are you OK?" To which I reply, "Oh, I'm just pregnant and I didn't want to throw up in my car." Apparently he was answering another call and saw me "slumped over" in my car and thought he better check. No fears, sir. I am not dead, just wishing I were...

Only one more week to the second trimester! Hopefully you will start feeling much better soon. I'm prayin' for ya'.
Sorry I was unavailable, but it's nice to know Homewood's Best is keeping an eye on you:)
Abba! I found your blog via Facebook and wanted to congratulate you on Baby Millwood! May your next trimester be more pleasant than your first! :)
Hang in there, Dabba Doo! Abby had the sickness pretty rough in the first trimester too. On the very day that she hit her 2nd trimester, she was full of energy and an insatiable hunger for philly cheese steaks.
OMG-- BEEN THERE!!!
I can't promise you that the second trimester will magically make all nausea dissapear. With Heidi I felt much better at about 15 weeks, but with Liam, I was sick until 20. BUT....that being said, everyone is different and before you know it you will have a little one cooing at you in your arms and you will forget all the terrors of pregnancy and be planning the next one!
Love you!
