Instead, I'm giving you something some of you will think is even better: pregnant girl photos. So there's not a lot to see here. In person it's much more impressive, but here you go: me at 16 weeks.
In response to my new roundness, I have moved into full-on nesting mode. While stopping in at Hobby Lobby to get some fabric to make a curtain for the bathroom, I happened to find a plethora of ridiculously cute fabrics with which to make baby blankets, dresses (if TK's a girl), etc. Sure, I don't actually have a sewing machine, nor do I know how to sew, but I figure there's a first for everything, and Marisa has informed me that sewing machines are not as expensive as I thought. If Mom can just teach me how not to sew my fingers, I may be well on my way!
In other big news (and all the more need for a planner), I have a new job! Starting Monday, I am the Managing Editor of Portico magazine. For those of you non-locals, it's a Birmingham lifestyle magazine with great photography and (magazine-nerd alert) fabulous paper. It will just be a part-time gig for now (so if anybody has a fun job I can do in the afternoons, let me know), but I'm really looking forward to getting back to work. They have a great readership and it's always fun to learn more about the town I live in, since I realize each day that I know very little. So on to new adventures! And random ob-la-di plug, if you haven't been in in awhile, you should stop by because we're having a killer sale. If we weren't trying to save money for baby-related items, I would be all over it ...

hey girl
you look great and i cant believe you are already 16 weeks. soon you will know "what" TK is and thats when the mommy-mode will really kick in! also, congrats on the job at portico; i love that magazine and will have to pay even more attention to it now.

Congrats on the job! We really should come up with some walking routine a few days a week since we live so close!

abba, you are such a doll! you still look teeny tiny as ever, but you've definitely got that look on your face that something awesome is going on.
