And speaking of the future, witness the first purchase I made for the little man's room. I think it's HYSTERICAL. It's the Dwell Studio for Target baby zebra rug that I've been eyeing for eons, but never had a reason to own before. Many of you know we're thinking about naming my fella Axel, so I've kicked around the idea of painting something that says "Welcome to the Jungle" to hang above his crib. (Get it? Welcome to the jungle? If you don't ... well ... Caleb will have to school you.) Since I'm not into uber-themes and don't want a full-on safari thing going on, I think the rug and canvas are the perfect combo for a hilariously hip room. Now I must admit, this next one's for me ...
#1 on my irrational desire list is irrational no more, thanks to that wonderful purveyor of goods, eBay. Secretly, I really wanted the pink over the black, so I was ecstatic to find the bag for a fraction of retail cost. (Otherwise, clearly, it would not have been purchased). It came in the mail the other day and I gotta tell you, it's the biggest bag I've ever seen. I think it may be a baby carrier, not just a diaper bag. You know, like one of those things you stick chihuahuas in? Well I could fit twins up in this thing. As for the rest of my irrational desire list, I'm over it. OK, except for a pair of jeans that I wouldn't mind having. Why must pricey designer jeans be the only kind that really fit?!
